About Unity5
At Unity5, we build technology that keeps modern operations moving smoothly. But what truly fuels our growth isn't just the software we develop—it’s how we work together to solve real-world problems for our clients.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, highly organised Solutions & Bid Executive to join our growing Commercial team.
This unique role bridges technical solution consultancy and high-impact proposal writing. You’ll sit at the intersection of pre-sales and strategy—understanding prospective clients’ challenges, building and delivering tailored technology demonstrations, and translating complex technical concepts into persuasive, compliant bid responses across both public sector frameworks (e.g., ESPO, CCS) and private sector enterprise tenders.
Key Responsibilities
Solution & Pre-Sales Consulting
- Tailored Demonstrations: Support in the building, updating, and delivering engaging, benefit-driven product demonstrations that align directly with prospective client requirements and proposal win themes.
- Discovery & Advocacy: Participate in technical discovery sessions to uncover client pain points, acting as a technical subject matter expert during pitch meetings, client presentations, and Q&A sessions.
- Events & Outreach: Present and represent Unity5 at industry events, exhibitions, webinars, and roadshows.
- Customer Feedback Loops: Maintain a strong customer-first mindset, feeding insights from client interactions back into Product and Marketing teams to keep our messaging and features ahead of the market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Bid & Technical Writing
- End-to-End Proposal Support: Draft clear, compelling, and compliant responses for private and public sector framework tenders.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with busy internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations to gather precise technical inputs under deadline-driven schedules.
- Maintain and update a high-quality library of reusable technical write-ups, architecture diagrams, compliance responses, and case studies.
