Connect Health and Healthshare have come together as one organisation - Cora Health - combining our decades of experience in providing healthcare services on behalf of the NHS

Purpose of the Job Role

The Solutions Architect is responsible for shaping, assuring and governing end-to-end technology solutions across a complex healthcare systems landscape. Acting as the bridge between clinical, operational and IM&T teams, the role translates business priorities and service challenges into scalable, secure and interoperable technology solutions that support Cora Health's strategic objectives.

In addition to leading solution architecture activities, the postholder will provide professional leadership for the Business Analysis capability, ensuring business requirements are robust, traceable and aligned to successful delivery outcomes. The role plays a key position in reducing technical debt, promoting reuse and standardisation, influencing technology investment decisions, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable value for patients, colleagues and the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the design, assurance and governance of end-to-end solution architectures across a complex and evolving healthcare systems landscape
  • Translate strategic business requirements into scalable, interoperable and secure technology solutions that align with organisational priorities
  • Provide architectural leadership across multiple programmes and change initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and long-term digital strategy
  • Design and assure integrations across clinical, operational and corporate systems, ensuring data flows, interoperability and resilience requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain architecture artefacts including system maps, integration diagrams, data flows, option appraisals and target-state architectures
  • Support organisational growth, mergers and service integration through flexible architecture approaches that enable rapid onboarding and system rationalisation
  • Work closely with innovation, clinical and operational teams to evaluate emerging technologies and develop viable, scalable solutions
  • Lead and develop the Business Analysis function, ensuring high-quality requirements gathering, process analysis and business partnering across the organisation
  • Ensure solutions appropriately address cyber security, information governance, clinical safety, accessibility and operational resilience requirements.
  • Maintain a hands-on and pragmatic approach, contributing directly to programme delivery and supporting successful implementation where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
