Role – Solutions Architect
Location: Hybrid – West Sussex once a month / Remote
Salary: £85,000 – £95,000 per annum
Start: ASAP
You will need to have demonstrable experience working in the Defence and National Security Sectors.
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solutions Architect to join an established technology and consultancy organisation delivering complex, data-led solutions across the Defence and National Security sectors.
This is a senior, customer-facing role offering the opportunity to work on technically challenging programmes, helping customers solve complex business and technology problems. You will be involved throughout the solution lifecycle, from understanding initial requirements and shaping opportunities through to architecture, delivery, and ongoing development.
The role combines Solution Architecture, technical consultancy, and pre-sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with customers as much as designing effective technical solutions.
The position is predominantly remote, with attendance at the West Sussex office once per month and occasional travel to UK customer sites.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
