Strategic Technology Architect Roles
About the Role
These Strategic Technology Architect roles are core to shaping Heathrow’s operational technology strategy across key domains. You’ll collaborate with domain architects to define strategic technology direction while serving as the technical design authority for project delivery. Your responsibilities span Baggage Systems, Airfield, Engineering, Rail, Passenger Systems, and more, demanding strategic foresight as well as hands-on technical oversight.
Working at the intersection of infrastructure, operations, and innovation, you’ll ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and future-ready, aligned with Heathrow’s long-term business goals.

Your Impact
You will be.**
- Driving critical technology partnerships with retailers, airlines, and other stakeholders.
- Designing the city-within-a-motorway – the technology, data, and infrastructure that keeps Heathrow running through 200+ buildings, HV substations, and complex systems.

Working Arrangements
Heathrow encourages a hybrid working model—permitting up to two days remote work per week for eligible roles while ensuring operational needs are met. This flexibility supports an agile work ethic, prioritising productivity and collaboration.
