Role details:
We are seeking an experienced Unified Communications (UC) Solution Lead to design, develop and deliver secure communication and collaboration solutions within highly regulated defence environments.
The successful candidate will lead the architecture and integration of enterprise-scale Unified Communications platforms, enabling secure voice, video, messaging and collaboration services across complex and segregated network environments. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, stakeholder management and secure solution design expertise, with a particular focus on interoperability, resilience and information assurance.

Responsibilities:
- Produce and own High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for Unified Communications solutions.
- Design scalable, resilient and secure voice, video and collaboration services aligned to customer requirements.
- Design and deploy secure cross-domain solutions (CDS), guards, and multi-level security (MLS) gateways that allow video, voice, and chat to flow securely between separate classified or isolated networks.
- Define end-to-end technical architectures covering:
- SIP and VoIP services
- Telephony and call routing platforms
- Video Teleconferencing (VTC)
- Instant Messaging and Presence services
- Collaboration and productivity platforms
- Ensure designs adhere to defence security standards, accreditation requirements and architectural governance processes.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Active DV Clearance
- Strong understanding of SIP, VoIP, Call routing, Telephony integration
- Proven experience producing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Experience delivering enterprise Unified Communications solutions.
- Ability to act as a senior technical point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience managing technical stakeholders and supporting complex project delivery.
- Experience operating within secure, mission-critical or defence environments.
Desired skill: Knowledge of Cross-Domain Architecture, including multi-security domain communications.
