Solution Architect - 3 months - £962 per day inside IR35 - Hybrid, High Wycombe, Farnborough
Expectation of 2-3 days on client site per week, alongside occasional visits to the consultancy's offices as required.
This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.
This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC level. More details relating to UK Security Clearance can be found here: United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK
Job Description:
Primary deliverable:
- Translation of requirements into IER (information exchange requirements for the data feed integrations for various project use cases)

Secondary deliverable:
- Shaping overall solution architecture and aiding the design of the future architecture vision and roadmap
Supporting activities:
- Reviews under technical design authority
- Support in technical discussions and meetings around infrastructure, data, platform, and application
Technical Skills & Experience
- On-Premises Infrastructure (VMWare stack)
- Understand and input into reviewed, and decision surrounding, design and deployment of container-based application architectures, supporting scalability, resilience, and modern application delivery practices.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and enterprise container platforms.
- Data Fabric Architecture
- Design and integration of enterprise data fabric solutions, including:
- Real-time data streaming
- API-led connectivity and integration
- Data connectors and integration services
- Data movement and interoperability across platforms
- Understanding of architecture and implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support automated build, test, and release processes.

Preferred Responsibilities
- Define target-state architectures and technology roadmaps.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural governance.
- Collaborate with, lead and challenge engineering, infrastructure, data, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards (JSP453 & Architecture Policy)
