We are working with a global insurance technology and consulting business seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver complex, enterprise-scale applications.
Working closely with product leadership, customers, and engineering teams, you will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while driving architecture and engineering best practices.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the architecture and delivery of complex enterprise applications.
- Run customer discovery sessions and translate requirements into effective solutions.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Break requirements into manageable development features.
- Champion code quality, BDD, unit testing, and performance optimisation.
- Support technical demonstrations, proposals, and pre-sales activities.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong Solution Architecture background with 10+ years in enterprise software development.
- Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of BPM tools such as Camunda, jBPM, Activiti, or Pega.
- Strong experience with APIs, OpenAPI, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
- Experience with relational databases, Git, and CI/CD tooling.
- Exposure to coding assistants, generative AI, or agentic AI.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
