Job Description

Our client is a rapidly growing team responsible for supporting and growing core business systems, currently Oracle Fusion/EBS, Salesforce, Fluent Commerce, Apache Kafka, EDI, and Oracle Service Cloud. The core enterprise business processes are Order-to-Cash and Plan-to-Produce.

This role will own the end-to-end design process for new Enterprise Applications IT solutions implemented for the EMEA & APAC business. The successful candidate is expected to take a fully objective, platform agnostic view of solutions and work with application specific architects and subject matter experts on detailed designs. Candidates will need to ensure that solutions are compliant with IT standards and strategy. This position will work closely with the business and technology leads to co-ordinate Discovery and High-Level Design phases of major projects. Candidates MUST have full development lifecycle experience with Oracle Fusion and have worked closely with multiple technical disciplines in a global enterprise application setting. This is a highly collaborative role suited to strong team players.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and lead project discovery and conceptual design phases, selecting optimal solutions to support the business whilst aligning with a global architectural framework
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure designs are feasible, resilient, performant, and well communicated
  • Formalise conceptual design and support technical and business stakeholders through the approval process
  • Own the delivery of high and low level design deliverables for an IT project
  • Drive domain and technology specific architects and Subject Matter Experts on the creation of detailed designs
  • In close partnership with Project Managers, manage technical risks, stakeholders and architectural / technical milestones

What makes you successful

  • You will have 5+ years of Solution Architecture experience
  • Demonstrable experience working with Oracle ERP software across modules e.g. Financials or Supply Chain, throughout the software development lifecycle. Fusion experience is a must have.
  • Experience of deploying a multiple SAAS platform solution e.g. Fusion and Salesforce across different geographies
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with ability to comprehend, articulate and document business and technical problems, solutions and considerations, with a view to influencing senior managers, project teams, and suppliers
  • Experience in creating designs at all levels of abstraction and working with teams to implement the solution
  • Well versed in defining and applying architecture and design patterns
