Solution Architect
Secure Digital Transformation & Government Programmes
Location: Bristol / Hybrid Working
Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 + Benefits Package
About the Role
We're supporting a leading consulting organisation as they continue to expand their architecture capability across complex government and secure transformation programmes.
This is an opportunity to work on high-profile digital initiatives, helping organisations define technology strategy, shape future-state architecture and deliver large-scale transformation outcomes.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll provide technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle while helping bridge the gap between business objectives and technology delivery.

What You'll Be Doing
- Defining solution architectures across complex digital transformation programmes.
- Developing technology roadmaps and architectural strategies aligned to business goals.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and programme leaders.
- Providing guidance across application, integration and cloud architecture.
- Managing technical risks, governance activities and architectural assurance.
- Supporting bids, proposals and business growth initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal delivery teams.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Solution Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
- Background in software engineering, systems engineering or technical delivery.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks, governance and design principles.
- Experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS or Azure.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
