Role: IT Solution Architect
Salary: £70,000 + Excellent Benefits
Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 3 Days On Site
Want to shape the future of technology across a large, complex organisation?
We're looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect to join a growing architecture team where you'll play a key role in designing the technology that underpins major business transformation programmes.
This isn't a role where you'll simply review designs from the sidelines. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to design secure, scalable and integrated solutions that deliver real business value.
If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, influencing architectural decisions and working across a broad Microsoft estate spanning cloud and on-premise technologies, we'd love to hear from you. My client have a real focus on training and development and there is budget available to pay for training courses.
What you'll be doing
As the Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for turning business requirements into practical, deliverable technology solutions.

- You'll design end-to-end solutions across infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, data and integrations, producing the architecture artefacts that enable successful project delivery.
- Working across multiple transformation initiatives, you'll collaborate with engineers, developers, security specialists, infrastructure teams and third-party suppliers to ensure solutions are secure, supportable and aligned with long-term architectural strategy.
- You'll also play an important role in architecture governance, helping to shape technical standards, challenge design decisions and promote best practice across the organisation.
What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced Solution Architect with a broad technical background and the ability to communicate confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
We're particularly interested in people who have experience across:
- Microsoft technologies across both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Infrastructure, networking, applications and data platforms.
- Systems integration, APIs and data flows.
- Producing high and low-level solution designs and architecture documentation.
- Security-by-design and resilient solution architecture.
- Technical governance, design assurance and architecture review processes.
- Supporting projects through design, build, testing, deployment and transition into service.
