Role Overview
We are looking for two experienced Architects to join a growing architecture function supporting a significant pipeline of change, technology modernisation and strategic global programmes.

The two roles will complement each other, with one position focused primarily on Solution Architecture and hands-on solution design, and the other focused on Enterprise Architecture, governance, standards and strategic alignment.
Both roles will work closely with technology and project teams, as well as security, data and technology domain teams. There will also be an international dimension to the roles, with engagement across regions including EMEA and APAC.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop, shape and review technology architectures and solutions.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, standards and strategic objectives.
- Provide architectural guidance and challenge throughout the project and delivery lifecycle.
- Work closely with project teams, technology teams and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate architectural approaches.
- Collaborate with security, data and technology domain teams to ensure solutions meet organisational standards and requirements.
- Support the modernisation of legacy platforms and the transition towards modern, scalable technology architectures.
- Contribute to cloud architecture and transformation initiatives.
- Work with API-led and event-driven architecture patterns where appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
