Solutions Architect - Contract
Oliver Bernard are currently working with an established InsurTech client of ours, based out of London, who are looking to take on a Solutions Architect as part of broad expansion plans across the business.
The incoming profile will need to be a seasoned contractor, and have a wealth of experience designing and building Solutions within Azure Cloud driven environments, whilst managing internal and external stakeholders day to day.
This role will offer autonomy when it comes to architectural decision making, whilst requiring the incoming profile to be responsible for assessing vendor proposals, producing architectural decision records, and able to drive System Integrations alongside Architectural transformations.

To be suitable for this position, the following expertise is required:
- Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect (6+ years)
- Strong Cloud expertise, designing and scaling Cloud Architecture practices within Azure
- Experienced driving system integrations (including responsibilities across REST API Design, CRM, SSO and external-facing applications)
- Able to produce Architectural Decision Records
- Additional and work with vendors directly on Solution Designs
- Experience with PowerShell and Azure CLI in Microsoft driven environments is also a massive bonus

This role operates a flexible working model (just one office day p/week), sits inside IR35 for an initial 3 month period, and can offer £800-900 p/day for a profile ticking all the boxes.
