Solution Architect - Remote
Rate: £500 a day inside IR35
Clearance: Active SC Clearance
We are currently seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a central government engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of effective technology solutions, ensuring that architecture aligns with business requirements, technical standards and strategic objectives.
The role will suit a Solution Architect with strong experience across AI, enterprise architecture and ArchiMate, ideally gained within a UK Government environment.

- Develop and maintain solution architectures aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Work with stakeholders, technical teams and delivery teams to define appropriate architecture and solutions.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, models and supporting artefacts.
- Apply ArchiMate modelling principles to communicate architecture effectively.
- Provide architectural input into AI-related initiatives and solutions.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with relevant government technology standards.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and opportunities, providing recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support the delivery team throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Solution Architect.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of AI architecture and solutions.
- Good working knowledge of ArchiMate and architecture modelling.
- Experience working within complex enterprise or government environments.
- HMRC architecture experience is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Active SC Clearance is essential.
