Our Vision

Continue to be the leading UK mobile infrastructure services company.

Our Mission

To be famous for excellence in delivery, embracing transformation with our people and our customers at its heart.

About Us

We are at an exciting time in our company’s development. We've come a long way since we were first formed in 2012. From the rollout of new technologies and managing complex legislation affecting the industry, we are leading the conversation on innovation and developing sharper solutions to serve our customers better. We collaborate as a team to meet the high standards expected of us and demand the best of ourselves through our values.

Main Purpose of Role

Cornerstone is the UK’s leading mobile and digital infrastructure provider, managing over 15,700 sites and holding 35% of the market. Our Mission is to be famous for excellence in delivery, embracing transformation with our people and our customers at its heart. The Mobile Telecoms Solution Architect develops and sells infrastructure solutions to mobile network operators on behalf of a telecommunications tower company. The role translates operator requirements into technically credible, commercially viable, and deployable tower, site, and connectivity solutions. It works across sales, engineering, property, construction, operations, and commercial teams to shape opportunities, respond to tenders, and ensure that proposed solutions meet operator, regulatory, and technical requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Scope

  • Engage with mobile network operators to understand coverage, capacity, densification, rollout, resilience, and site-sharing requirements.
  • Lead technical discoveries for new-build, co-location, upgrade, infill, and network-modernization opportunities.
  • Translate operator requirements into tower, rooftop, monopole, street works, small-cell, and in-building coverage solutions.
  • Develop technically compliant solutions using existing sites, new sites, and alternative infrastructure options.
  • Assess site feasibility, structural loading, compound capacity, access, power, transmission, planning, and landlord constraints.
  • Review operator radio-planning information, including antenna configurations, equipment weights, azimuths, heights, sectors, and technology requirements.
  • Determine whether existing infrastructure can accommodate proposed operator equipment and future expansion.
  • Develop co-location and multi-operator solutions that optimize infrastructure utilization while maintaining safety, performance, and maintainability.
  • Work with structural engineers to assess tower loading, wind loading, foundation capacity, and equipment-mounting requirements.
  • Define requirements for cabinets, shelters, equipment platforms, cable ladders, feeders, antenna mounts, power systems, earthing, and security.
  • Coordinate with transmission and connectivity specialists where sites require fiber, microwave, backhaul, or other network-access services.
  • Support the development of distributed antenna systems, small-cell infrastructure, and neutral-host solutions, where relevant.
  • Prepare technical responses to operator tenders, framework competitions, requests for information, and requests for proposals.
  • Produce solution descriptions, site schedules, technical assumptions, design specifications, bills of materials, and cost estimates.
  • Explain the technical, commercial, and operational advantages of proposed infrastructure solutions to operator stakeholders.
  • Identify deviations, exclusions, dependencies, risks, and opportunities in customer requirements.
  • Work with commercial teams to develop pricing models, business cases, and customer proposals.
  • Support negotiations concerning site access, build scope, delivery responsibilities, service levels, and change control.
  • Ensure proposed solutions comply with relevant safety, planning, structural, environmental, and telecommunications standards.
  • Provide technical assurance through design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Support mobilization of new contracts, including site surveys, design standards, governance processes, and delivery assumptions.
  • Maintain reusable solution patterns, standard designs, cost models, technical libraries, and lessons learned.
  • Build trusted relationships with operator engineering, rollout, procurement, property, and commercial teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
