Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Solutions Architect at Maxima Opus Ltd.
The Solutions Architect will design and document secure, scalable architectures for cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Engaging with clients to understand their technology landscape
- Conducting architecture assessments
- Recommending solutions that support growth and compliance
The role involves collaborating with engineering teams on software development and integration approaches, defining technical standards, and supporting implementation through guidance, reviews, and troubleshooting.
The Solutions Architect will also contribute to consulting engagements, prepare technical proposals, and share best practices in cloud, cyber security, and modern engineering.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing secure, scalable systems across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Consulting skills, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technology roadmaps.
- Software Development skills, including familiarity with modern development practices, APIs, and cloud-native design.
- Integration skills, including experience with system integration patterns, data flows, and interoperability between platforms.
- Business Process skills, including the ability to map, analyze, and optimize processes to align with proposed technical solutions.

Relevant experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure), cyber security best practices, and regulated or security-sensitive industries is beneficial.
Strong communication, documentation, and presentation abilities, with capacity to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, security or architecture certifications) are an advantage.
