Solution Architect
London, Manchester or Bristol | Hybrid – 2 days per week | Permanent | Up to £105,000 + benefits
I’m working with a leading consulting organisation to find a Solution Architect with a strong Software Engineering background to join their Digital & Data team.
The Role
This is an opportunity for a hands-on Software Engineer turned Architect to work across a variety of complex projects, helping clients shape and deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Work closely with engineering teams, technical stakeholders, and senior leaders
- Contribute to architecture decisions and guide the delivery of scalable applications and services

What We’re Looking For
- A hands-on Software Engineering background, with experience leading engineering teams to deliver applications and services
- Experience transitioning into or working within Solution Architecture
- Strong understanding of architecture and delivery methodologies
- Experience across architectural domains, with a specialism in at least one: Application, Data, Technology, Security, or Business Architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and analytical skills

This role is particularly suited to Software Engineers who have progressed into Architecture and want to continue developing technically while working on complex client challenges.
