Solutions Architect – Leeds

Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

Salary: £95,000 - £105,000 + Bonus / Benefits

About Our Client

Our client is a leading technology and digital transformation organisation delivering complex cloud and software solutions for major UK businesses. They are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to support a growing portfolio of transformation programmes.

The Role

You will work with customers, engineering teams and technical leadership to design scalable solutions that meet business, security and operational requirements. The role spans early-stage discovery through detailed architecture and delivery assurance, with significant influence over technology decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture across complex technology programmes.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Define architecture across applications, APIs, data, cloud and integrations.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed.
  • Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation and decision records.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies and non-functional requirements.
  • Engage senior customer and internal stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture governance, standards and reusable patterns.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
