Solution Architect, AI & Data

Ncounter is supporting the growth of a technology consultancy delivering complex AI, data and digital transformation programmes across secure and highly regulated environments. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who can operate between customer requirements and technical delivery, shaping solutions before they move into engineering and implementation.

You will work directly with customers to understand their challenges, lead discovery activity and translate requirements into practical technical designs. The focus will be on modern AI, data and automation solutions, covering areas such as enterprise data platforms, generative AI, integrations, security and operational architecture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end AI, data and automation solutions for complex enterprise environments
  • Produce solution architectures, technical designs and implementation roadmaps
  • Lead customer discovery workshops and translate business requirements into deliverable technical solutions
  • Design solutions using foundation models including OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini
  • Shape agentic AI architectures, including multi-agent systems, tool calling, orchestration and human-in-the-loop approaches
  • Design RAG, vector database, semantic search and enterprise knowledge solutions
  • Support technical proposals, solution estimates and customer presentations
  • Contribute to architecture governance, security, responsible AI and technical standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
