Job Title: Solutions Architect

Location: Leeds/Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Salary: c.£75,000

Why Apply?

Join a professional services business within a major global group as its first dedicated Solutions Architect, taking ownership of the architecture behind its finance decision platforms for the property market. This is a brand-new role, not a replacement. You'll be the go-to architect for the business, translating business needs into technical solutions and setting the blueprint for what the development team builds. You'll have support from the group's Lead Solutions Architect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the sole Solutions Architect for the business unit, taking ownership of its technology and architecture.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand their challenges and establish clear requirements.
  • Work closely with the development team to understand their capability and tech stack, and design solutions they can deliver.
  • Produce specifications, wireframes, and architecture diagrams for the development team to build from.
  • Help shape how architecture is governed, maintained, and looked after across the business.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and represent architecture at a senior level.
  • Collaborate with the group's wider architecture function to align standards and best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
