Hiring: Solution Architect / Delivery Lead (Data Product Catalogue)
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6 Months

Are you an experienced Solution Architect / Delivery Lead with deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, Azure architecture, and modern data mesh ecosystems? We’re looking for a seasoned technical leader to spearhead the architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of an enterprise Data Product Catalogue (DPC) solution within a complex financial services environment.

The Role

In this dual-impact role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural strategy and hands-on delivery management. You’ll be responsible for producing the High-Level Design (HLD) for the DPC solution, aligning it with Enterprise Data Platform standards, and driving the delivery plan through to production release.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & HLD: Author the High-Level Design (HLD) for the Data Product Catalogue in the target development environment.
  • Target State Architecture: Define hosting, database connectivity (PostgreSQL, Neo4j), secrets management, and platform integrations in line with enterprise standards.
  • Governance & Approvals: Present to and secure approvals from Design Authority (DA) and architectural governance boards.
  • Codebase Refactoring Strategy: Assess existing DPC codebase, application architecture, and deployment artifacts to replace local components with enterprise services.
  • Enterprise Integration: Design seamless integration connectivity with enterprise metadata, lineage services, IAM, ITSM, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Delivery Leadership: Own the end-to-end delivery plan across design, build, integration, and deployment phases while managing multi-disciplinary technology stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
