The successful candidate will provide strategic solution and technical architecture leadership across a complex Oracle Fusion Cloud environment covering ERP, HCM, EPM, integrations, automation, and associated cloud services.
You will work closely with the client, lead delivery partner, and multiple third-party suppliers to ensure that solutions are appropriately designed, assured, implemented, and transitioned into live service in accordance with the client's digital, architectural, security, and governance principles.
This is a senior architecture role requiring strong experience of enterprise-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud programmes, multi-supplier environments, and complex public sector or regulated organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions across ERP, HCM, EPM, and associated services.

- Ensure proposed solutions align with client digital principles, enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and governance frameworks.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, supportable, and suitable for live service.
- Support cutover planning, service transition, hypercare, knowledge transfer, and handover into BAU operations.
- Provide architectural oversight for Oracle quarterly releases, patches, platform upgrades, and technical debt remediation.
- Support the implementation of automated regression testing and release assurance processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency using automation, digital workflows, RPA, analytics, and AI-enabled tooling.
- Work with security teams to ensure appropriate security architecture, protective monitoring, access controls, and compliance evidence are incorporated into solutions.
- Support incident, problem, and technical risk management where architectural input is required.
- Maintain architecture decision records, technical risks, dependencies, and design documentation.
- Participate in programme governance, architecture boards, design reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders, delivery partners, and third-party vendors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
