Solutions Architect - ERP Transformation
We're working with a major manufacturing business going through a significant technology transformation, and they're looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join a large-scale ERP implementation project.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get involved in an ERP transformation from the ground up, rather than simply maintaining an existing system.
You'll play a key role in understanding how the new ERP should be structured, configured and implemented, working closely with the manufacturing operation, internal teams and external consultants.
The role
You'll be responsible for helping shape the architecture and configuration of a new ERP environment, ensuring it supports the needs of a complex manufacturing business.
You'll be involved in:
- Architecting and structuring the new ERP system.
- Defining how the system should be configured and maintained.
- Understanding system architecture, tables, data and integrations.
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to understand operational requirements.
- Supporting the implementation of ERP across the wider business.
- Working with MRP and MES systems and understanding how they integrate with ERP.
- Supporting processes such as Procure-to-Pay.
- Working alongside a wider project team and external implementation consultants.
- Helping shape best-practice approaches across the new ERP environment.
- Supporting the wider transformation from legacy systems to a modern ERP platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The project
This is a major transformation programme with an 18-month project lifespan, currently in the discovery phase.
You'll be joining a project team of around 50 people, with representation across IT, Finance, Procurement, Quality and Project Management, alongside external consultants.
The business is investing heavily in its technology estate and moving away from legacy infrastructure. This is an opportunity to have a genuine influence on how the future ERP environment is designed and how technology supports the wider manufacturing operation.

This role is fully onsite and requires someone who is genuinely comfortable working onsite as part of the project team. There may be limited flexibility in the future, but candidates should be prepared to work onsite full-time, based in County Antrim.
If you're an ERP Solutions Architect with strong manufacturing experience and want to be involved in a major transformation project from the ground up, I'd be keen to speak with you.
