Solutions Architect –.NET / Azure / Application & Data Architecture

Hybrid – South Manchester (2 days per week)

Up to £85,000 + 10% bonus

We’re working with a growing global fintech organisation that is investing heavily in the modernisation of its technology platform.

They’re now looking for a Solutions Architect to join their Architecture team, taking ownership of solutions across both application and data architecture, with a particular focus on.NET, Azure and modernising complex legacy platforms.

This isn’t a pure Data Architect role or an ivory-tower architecture position. They’re looking for someone who can stay close to the technical detail and work directly with engineering teams.

The Why? (just a couple of highlights…)

  • Real architectural ownership – Influence the future direction of a large-scale, business-critical technology platform
  • Major modernisation programme – Help transform legacy applications and data architecture into scalable, cloud-native Azure solutions

The What?

You’ll work across a complex.NET and Azure technology estate, owning end-to-end solution designs and supporting engineering teams through delivery. The role spans application modernisation, data architecture, APIs, integrations and cloud transformation, balancing scalability, security, resilience, performance and cost.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
