Solution Architect | 12 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £650 per day | Active SC Clearance Required
An opportunity has opened for an experienced Solution Architect to take on a leadership role across application, integration and data architecture. You will guide a team of architects and developers, shape architectural direction and run the governance forums that keep designs consistent and compliant.
The role at a glance
- Contract: 12 months, inside IR35
- Rate: £650 per day
- Location: Remote, with travel to South London once per month
- Clearance: Active SC clearance required
- Start date: Approximately 4 to 6 weeks from offer, to allow for onboarding
What you will be doing
- Leading and mentoring architects and development teams, encouraging collaboration and technical excellence
- Driving architectural decisions across applications, integrations and data flows, in line with business goals
- Running architecture governance forums to ensure designs meet standards, principles and compliance requirements
- Designing application architectures that support modularity, scalability and maintainability
- Defining integration patterns and API strategies that enable interoperability across platforms, with a focus on secure and reusable components
- Designing data models and flows that support analytics, business intelligence and operational needs, while maintaining data integrity, security and compliance
- Working with cross-functional teams to deliver workflow-driven systems and automated processes
- Producing clear documentation covering designs, standards and troubleshooting guides

About you
- Active SC clearance
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with leadership responsibilities
- Strong expertise in application architecture, integration patterns and data modelling
- Experience running architecture governance processes
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to influence and guide architectural decisions in complex environments
