Solution Architect | Anaplan | Pigment | EPM | Financial Planning | Financial Services | Consulting

We are supporting a growing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) consultancy looking to appoint a Solution Architect to join their expanding delivery team.

This is a senior, client-facing consulting role suited to someone with strong Anaplan and/or Pigment expertise who enjoys leading discovery sessions, shaping solution architecture and guiding delivery teams through complex planning and performance management transformations. You'll combine technical architecture, stakeholder engagement and delivery leadership responsibilities while helping Financial Services clients modernise planning, forecasting and performance management processes.

Predominantly Remote, with Occasional Travel

Up to £125,000 + Benefits

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand processes, systems and data flows
  • Translating business requirements into scalable EPM solution architectures using Anaplan and/or Pigment
  • Designing future-state operating models, workflows and integration approaches
  • Producing detailed functional specifications, sprint plans and user stories
  • Acting as the primary technical advisor throughout project delivery
  • Supporting pre-sales activities, platform demonstrations and client presentations
  • Working closely with model builders to provide technical guidance and architectural oversight
  • Facilitating sprint reviews, progress updates and stakeholder presentations
  • Identifying project risks, dependencies and opportunities for optimisation
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to manage scope, priorities and timelines
  • Contributing to methodology development, knowledge sharing and practice growth
  • Expanding expertise across a wider EPM technology portfolio

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience delivering EPM solutions
  • Expertise in Anaplan and/or Pigment
  • Relevant Anaplan or Pigment certifications
  • Experience delivering multiple end-to-end EPM implementations
  • Proven background in solution architecture, requirements gathering and stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of planning, forecasting and performance management processes
  • Experience creating process maps, future-state designs and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of Jira or similar agile project management tools
  • Excellent client-facing consulting and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead workshops and translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions
  • Experience within Financial Services environments would be highly advantageous
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
