Solutions Architect - Power Platform
Location: Hybrid (London 2 days a week)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract
Rate: £700 to £765 per day
Start: ASAP
This role has been deemed Inside IR35.
The Opportunity
A leading UK organisation is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of a new enterprise capability that will transform how information is securely requested, managed and submitted across digital services.
Working within a complex Microsoft and Azure environment, you will define the architectural vision for a business-critical platform that enhances customer experience, improves operational efficiency and supports secure, scalable service delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions from the outset, working alongside senior architects, technical specialists and business stakeholders to deliver a modern cloud-based solution.
The Role
As the Solutions Architect, you will lead the architectural design for a new Power Platform capability, defining the solution approach and providing technical leadership throughout the discovery and design phases.

Key responsibilities include:
- Defining the overall solution architecture and technical vision.
- Producing Solution Vision documentation, High-Level Designs (HLDs) and supporting architectural artefacts.
- Assessing and recommending the most appropriate use of Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Dynamics 365, Power Pages and Azure services.
- Evaluating architectural options to balance customer experience, security, scalability, maintainability and operational efficiency.
- Working closely with enterprise architects, delivery teams and engineering leads to ensure designs are practical and deliverable.
- Supporting proof of concepts, technical spikes and discovery activities to validate architectural decisions.
- Collaborating with security, identity, integration and operational teams to ensure non-functional requirements are fully considered.
- Presenting architectural recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Person
We're looking for an experienced Solution or Power Platform Architect who enjoys solving complex business challenges through pragmatic, well-designed technical solutions.
You'll have experience of:
- Microsoft Power Platform architecture.
- Dynamics 365 solution architecture.
- Power Pages architecture and implementation.
- Azure cloud services and cloud-native solution design.
- API-led integration and event-driven architectures.
- Identity and Access Management, including Azure AD B2C or Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM).
- Producing Solution Visions, High-Level Designs and architectural documentation.
- Working within Agile delivery environments.
- Engaging confidently with senior stakeholders, architects and engineering teams.
- Translating business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
