Solution Architect | Contract | Inside IR35
Location: West Yorkshire (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite)
I'm currently looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale business change and technology transformation environment. This is a broad, generalist architecture role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple systems, engaging with stakeholders and designing pragmatic, scalable solutions within an established enterprise technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and document end-to-end solution architectures across multiple business domains.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable and fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
- Define application integration approaches, APIs and system interfaces.
- Work closely with architecture, engineering, cloud, infrastructure and security teams.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, design principles and governance processes.
- Facilitate architecture workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design through to delivery.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and system integration.
- Experience designing solutions spanning multiple applications, systems and business functions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and technical teams.
- Experience with architecture governance, design reviews and enterprise standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience
- Azure integration services and frameworks.
- API-led architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Experience working with cloud, infrastructure and security teams.
- Involvement in large-scale transformation or business change programmes.
