The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-regarded international business and technology consultancy to find a senior Oracle Fusion SCM and Product Hub specialist for a key client engagement. You'll be placed with a large, multi-site, multi-country consumer business in the middle of a global Oracle Cloud ERP transformation.
This is a hands-on lead role. You'll hold design authority for Supply Chain, Product Information Management and the related GL and reporting, and stay with the programme from design through go-live and into steady-state support.
What you'll be doing
- Owning functional and configuration design across Oracle Fusion SCM (Inventory, Cost Management, Procurement) and Product Hub/PIM, and making design decisions within programme standards
- Configuring inventory organisations, items, subinventories, locators, purchasing, receiving, cycle and physical counts, and consumption, waste and shrink processes
- Setting up cost methods, valuation, variances and COGS recognition, and making sure cost and inventory accounting flows correctly to GL and reconciles
- Designing the item and product data model, attributes, categories and item classes
- Establishing product data governance, new-item onboarding workflows and data quality rules
- Configuring how product data is published to downstream systems such as POS, planning and reporting
- Leading conversion of item masters, on-hand balances, open POs and costs through FBDI and ADFDI, then validating and reconciling the results
- Building inventory, cost, COGS and data-quality reports in OTBI and BI Publisher
- Running SIT and UAT, then supporting cutover, go-live and hypercare
- Owning quarterly Oracle release adoption, regression testing, environment management, change control and Oracle SRs
- Reviewing and approving System Integrator deliverables, and directing analysts, consultants and SI resources within the workstream

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
