Oracle Fusion Financials Techno-Functional Lead/Solutions Architect
Location: UK (remote / hybrid, with some US time-zone overlap)
Level: Senior Consultant / Manager
The Opportunity: We're partnering with a well-regarded international business and technology consultancy to find a senior Oracle Fusion Financials specialist for a key client engagement. You'll be placed with a large, multi-site, multi-country consumer business in the middle of a global Oracle Cloud ERP transformation.
This is a hands-on lead role. You'll hold design authority for the core Financials modules and stay with the programme from design through go-live and into steady-state support.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning functional and configuration design across Oracle Fusion GL, AP, AR, Projects (PPM) and Fixed Assets, and making design decisions within programme standards
- Making sure subledger-to-GL accounting flows are correct, controlled and reconcilable
- Configuring chart of accounts, ledgers, calendars, currencies, intercompany, allocations, revaluation, translation and period close
- Designing AP and AR processes, including matching, tolerances, approvals, payments, receipts, collections and subledger accounting rules
- Configuring project costing, billing and capitalisation, asset books, depreciation and the CIP-to-asset flow
- Leading data conversion through FBDI and ADFDI, then validating and reconciling the converted data
- Building reports and reconciliations in OTBI, BI Publisher and SmartView
- Running SIT and UAT, then supporting cutover, go-live and hypercare
- Owning quarterly Oracle release adoption, regression testing, security and role design, and change control
- Reviewing and approving System Integrator deliverables, and directing analysts, consultants and SI resources within the workstream

What you'll bring:
- Several full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations where you held solution architect or design authority responsibility
- Strong GL, AP and AR expertise, plus working knowledge of Projects and Fixed Assets
- A solid grasp of subledger accounting, ledger design, period close and reconciliation
- Hands-on admin experience covering security, segregation of duties, approval workflows and quarterly releases
- FBDI/ADFDI conversion and OTBI/BI Publisher reporting experience
- Comfort working at architecture level and at a detailed, hands-on level
- Confident stakeholder management with finance, operations and technical teams
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field

Nice to have:
- CPA, CMA or Oracle Cloud Financials certifications
- Accounting Hub (AHCS) and primary/secondary ledger experience
- Multi-entity, multi-currency and multi-country rollouts with localisation requirements
- EPM, FCCS, OIC or SQL exposure
- A background in retail, hospitality, leisure or other high-volume, multi-location businesses
