Yaspa started in 2017 as ‘Citizen’, a company with the vision of connecting identity and payments. Over the years our product offering has evolved but the focus has remained the same. We believe there is a sweet spot in the combination of payment and identity data that will dramatically improve payment velocity, security and consumer trust.
We use open banking to power real-time payments and instant verification. For operators, that means lower costs, stronger security, and faster growth. For customers, it’s a simple, seamless experience every time.
In June 2025 we were delighted to announce Series A led by Discerning Capital, which will ensure our growth continues not just across Europe but also entering the US market.
Role
As a Solutions Architect at Yaspa, you'll lead the technical side of our sales and client onboarding in the UK and Europe. You'll be the technical expert prospects and clients rely on, from the first demo through launch and serve as a subject matter expert for clients facing significant issues or looking to expand their integrations to Yaspa once they're up and running.
Working as part of the Product team, you'll use what you learn from technical sales and onboarding, along with your open banking and payments expertise, to help shape our product roadmap. You'll turn client needs into clear requirements, help define our go-to-market approach, and improve the documentation and processes that support our growing European client base.
Key Responsibilities
Technical sales
- Own the technical side of the sales cycle: discovery, solution design, technical presentations, product demos, and proofs-of-concept (POCs).
- Act as the main technical contact for prospects, handling complex questions about integration, security, compliance, and architecture.
- Work closely with the sales team to qualify opportunities, scope implementations, and fine-tune proposals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
