Solutions Architect – Asset Servicing

Permanent | Hybrid - 2x a week in London | Financial Services

Bestman Solutions is supporting a leading financial market infrastructure organisation undergoing significant technology modernisation across its post-trade platforms.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a growing architecture function, with a particular focus on Asset Servicing.

This role will be responsible for defining target architecture and designing end-to-end solutions across complex, business-critical platforms. You will sit between enterprise architecture and engineering, translating strategic direction into pragmatic, technically deliverable solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong solution architecture experience with a good understanding of modern software engineering and, importantly, Asset Servicing or wider post-trade processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end solution architectures across Asset Servicing and wider post-trade technology initiatives
  • Ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional, security, resilience, and architectural requirements
  • Translate enterprise and domain architecture principles into practical technology solutions
  • Work closely with Domain Architects, Product Owners, Engineering teams, and other technology stakeholders
  • Contribute to target architectures and technology roadmaps for the Asset Servicing domain
  • Design solutions using event-driven, service-based, API, and microservices architectures
  • Provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle, from initial design through to implementation
  • Identify technical dependencies, risks, and architectural trade-offs across complex programmes
  • Develop reusable architecture patterns and technology building blocks
  • Support the continued development of Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practices
  • Provide pragmatic recommendations while maintaining alignment with wider enterprise standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
