Join a high-growth payments technology business as a customer-facing Solution Architect, leading enterprise solution design for global merchants and helping shape complex payment integrations from discovery through to delivery. We're looking for a payments specialist with strong experience across payment orchestration, PSPs, acquiring, routing and API integration architecture, combined with excellent stakeholder and pre-sales engagement skills.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing fintech operating at the forefront of payment technology. Working closely with sales, product and engineering teams, you'll act as the technical lead throughout the customer lifecycle, helping some of the world's leading organisations optimise payment performance, improve customer experiences and unlock new revenue opportunities.

You'll engage directly with enterprise customers, leading technical discovery sessions, designing scalable payment architectures and providing trusted technical guidance throughout the sales and implementation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery workshops and solution design sessions with customers.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade technical solutions.
  • Support enterprise sales opportunities, RFPs and customer presentations.
  • Design payment architectures across orchestration, acquiring, routing and payment methods.
  • Create API integration strategies and technical solution documentation.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are technically viable and aligned to product strategy.
  • Present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, Solutions Engineering or Technical Pre-Sales.
  • Strong payments industry background.
  • Experience working with payment orchestration, PSPs, acquiring and payment routing.
  • Strong understanding of Visa, Mastercard and alternative payment methods.
  • Experience designing and delivering API-based integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with payment orchestration platforms.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, PSD2, Open Banking and 3DS2.
  • Experience within the travel, hospitality or airline sectors.
  • Previous experience supporting enterprise sales opportunities.
