RED Global is supporting a client looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise across Qlik Sense, APIs and enterprise reporting solutions. The successful consultant will lead the design and delivery of scalable Qlik Sense applications, integrations and reporting architecture across a complex data environment.

Contract Information

Job title: Solution Architect - Qlik Sense / APIs
Location: Sheffield
Work model: Hybrid (3 days on-site)
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 6 Months
Contract type: Inside IR35

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver enterprise-scale Qlik Sense solutions
  • Architect integrations between Qlik APIs and React-based mashup layers
  • Design and optimise relational database and data warehouse structures
  • Develop user-friendly, high-performance dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Build custom Qlik extensions using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Support automated deployments through CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage the full reporting lifecycle from business request through to production
  • Apply test-driven development and quality-control best practices
  • Support Qlik Sense administration and platform governance
  • Use AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve delivery efficiency

Essential experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience within Solution Architecture or senior technical delivery roles
  • Extensive hands-on Qlik Sense development and architecture experience
  • Proven delivery across several large-scale Qlik Sense programmes
  • Strong experience integrating Qlik APIs with React mashups
  • Advanced SQL and database development experience using SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase
  • Experience working with complex data structures and enterprise reporting platforms
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD and automated deployment processes
  • Experience across the full reporting development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting layouts and reporting consistency
  • Hands-on JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
  • Qlik Sense administration experience
