Solution Architect – ERP e-Commerce – Symphony/PHP

e-Commerce Solution Architect / Senior technology professional required to support a strategically important e-commerce technology project.

Working with an e-commerce and distribution group with a significant amount of internally developed technology, alongside their ERP and other business systems, you will be tasked with providing senior, hands-on technology leadership experience for a new e-commerce/customer platform project which is already in development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate the business requirements, technical design and proposed architecture.
  • Act as a senior technical sounding board for our Head of IT and development team.
  • Identify any material gaps, risks, dependencies or resource requirements.
  • Ensure the approach appropriately considers our longer-term technology direction and does not unnecessarily add complexity or constrain future options.
  • Establish robust technical governance and help drive the project through to successful delivery.
