Job Title: Solutions Architect (Telecoms / WAN / Pre-Sales)
Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
Contract: 12–24 months
A leading telecommunications organisation is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join their team on a long-term contract.
This is a client-facing, pre-sales focused role where you'll take ownership of designing network solutions for new customer requirements. You'll work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to develop solution blueprints, produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), and support projects from initial requirements through to customer approval.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements.
- Design end-to-end network solutions using existing products or develop new solution variants where required.
- Produce High-Level Design (HLD) documentation and technical solution proposals.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, Change Management, and other Solution Architects.
- Support contract changes and project documentation throughout the approval process.
- Act as the technical lead for new service requests while managing multiple stakeholders across the business.

Required Experience
- Previous experience as a Solutions Architect or Technical Pre-Sales Consultant within the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of: WAN technologies (MPLS, DIA, Broadband), Cisco networking, LAN solutions, Meraki Wi-Fi.
- Experience producing High-Level Design (HLD) documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently within a large, complex organisation.
- Hands-on engineering experience is not required.
