We are currently recruiting for an exciting Solutions Architect contract opportunity working on a new, greenfield digital solution within the energy sector.
This is a 3 month contract, Inside IR35, with 1 day per week onsite. Remote working will also be considered for the right candidate.
This is a great opportunity for an Architect who enjoys working at the early stages of a project, where there’s an opportunity to assess the technology landscape, shape the direction and recommend the right architectural approach rather than simply delivering against an established blueprint.
What will you be doing?
The role is currently more focused on architecture, assessment and technical direction than hands-on delivery. You’ll be helping to establish the pathway for a new solution, assessing options, understanding technical implications and making clear recommendations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
