Solution Architect
Hybrid working (3 days on-site / 2 days remote) | Uxbridge / North West London
Permanent | c.£75,000 + excellent benefits
An organisation in the education & training sector is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership across applications, infrastructure, cloud, integration, data, and security.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for defining architectural direction, establishing standards and governance, and assuring the design of secure, resilient, and cost-effective solutions. This is a senior role focused on setting direction and governing delivery, working closely with internal teams, delivery partners, and suppliers.

- Define and own end-to-end solution architecture across applications, infrastructure, cloud, integration, data, and security
- Design and govern hybrid Azure and on-prem architectures
- Establish architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures
- Lead architectural governance, including chairing the Technical Design Authority
- Define and govern an enterprise integration architecture, including an integration layer
- Provide architectural leadership across major system implementations and replacements (e.g. ITSM, HR, IAM, ERP, digital platforms)
- Define enterprise data architecture and lead the design of a single, trusted enterprise data repository
- Embed security-by-design principles across all solutions

Key experience required
- Proven Solution / Technical Architecture experience in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong experience across Cloud Infrastructure, and designing and delivering integration and data architecture.
- Strong understanding of security architecture.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in the data and integration spere.
