Solution Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure

Location: Doncaster / Leeds (Hybrid)

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a well-established organisation undergoing significant investment in its technology landscape.

You'll play a key role in designing secure, scalable infrastructure and cloud solutions across a complex enterprise environment, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to shape future architecture and ensure successful project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong infrastructure background who has progressed into architecture and enjoys working across both cloud and on-premise technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions across enterprise projects.
  • Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and supporting technical documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles from discovery through to delivery.
  • Define architecture standards, governance and best practices.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers and third-party suppliers to ensure successful implementation.
  • Review existing platforms and identify opportunities for modernisation and continuous improvement.
  • Balance security, resilience, scalability, supportability and cost when making architecture decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
