The Opportunity

We are looking for a Solution Architect to play a key role in designing and delivering innovative technology solutions across digital, smart building and enterprise environments. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of connected buildings, digital estates and enterprise technology platforms.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external suppliers, you will lead solution design activities, define integration approaches and ensure solutions align with architectural standards, security requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality High Level Designs (HLDs) to support project initiation and solution approval.
  • Develop detailed Low Level Designs (LLDs) for complex and high-risk solutions where required.
  • Lead solution discovery and architecture definition activities, translating business and technical requirements into effective solution designs.
  • Support impact assessments, architecture governance processes and Technical Design Authority (TDA) submissions.
  • Design solutions spanning IoT, access control systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Information Modelling (BIM), asset data platforms and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Define integration strategies, APIs and data flows across digital platforms and operational technologies.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security standards and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers, facilitating technical reviews and evaluating architectural options.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
