About the Role
Decagon is seeking a Solutions Architect – Voice, a technical hire who will define how enterprises deploy Decagon's AI agents into live voice and contact center environments. This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales engineering, telephony architecture, and enterprise contact center strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise prospects and customers, guiding them through complex, ambiguous voice deployment conversations—from SIP trunking and call routing to media handling and real-time transcription—ensuring Decagon integrates seamlessly into their existing contact center platforms while meeting latency, reliability, and compliance requirements.
As an early hire in this function, you will define best practices for voice deployment solutioning, partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering, and set the standard for how Decagon engages with enterprises running mission-critical contact center operations. You will establish technical credibility with stakeholders across the C-suite, telephony and network teams, contact center operations, and CX leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
