Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect to join our Global Plans Development team, based in Bristol or Edinburgh.

A role you will love
As a Solutions Architect, you will be the bridge between business strategy and technology-based solutions, ensuring success in all transformational projects, with a focus on security and identity architecture.
You will be driving delivery across agile and hybrid environments, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence. To do this, you will collaborate with cross-functional workstream teams including architecture, data, engineering, and operations to ensure readiness for new platforms and tools.
Other key responsibilities:
- Develop feasible business architecture proposals.
- Innovate by translating business requirements into technical specifications that align with architectural objectives.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders across business and technology.
- Embed continuous improvement practices, leveraging feedback loops, retrospectives, and data-driven insights.
- Act as a champion for the adoption of next-generation tools across the business and IT.

What will you bring to the role?
Of course, this is a Solutions Architect role, so you will need to have significant knowledge and experience of applying design principles within an enterprise context and demonstrate best practices for design, build, test, and deployment.
In this position, you will be working collaboratively across the team and wider business so you will need to be able to build strong partnerships with stakeholders and teams, building strong credibility for the role, team and business unit.
Some other key skills that you’ll have:
- An excellent understanding of large enterprise systems and underpinning technology.
- Experience in Agile environments and DevOps.
- Awareness and understanding of AI types, benefits and adoption.
- Ability to set direction, build consensus and share vision and values with others.
- Strong data affinity, enthusiasm for data flows and models with good SQL skills.
