The role requires strong expertise in digital technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise solutions, combined with a proven ability to align business and technology strategies.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing architectural guidance and technology leadership across digital transformation programmes.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and delivery teams to identify opportunities for innovation and evaluate solution options.
- Assess current technology landscapes, identifying risks, opportunities, constraints, and technical debt to develop future-state architectures.
- Define architecture principles, governance processes, standards, and best practices to support successful delivery.
- Create technology roadmaps and migration strategies across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies, cloud services, AI, automation, data platforms, and industry trends.
- Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and executive presentations, translating complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.
- Support business development, pre-sales activities, bids, and client proposals.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned to business requirements.
- Stay current with technology trends, architecture frameworks, and industry standards to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
