Solutions Architecture Senior Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architecture Senior Manager based in the United Kingdom.
This is a senior leadership opportunity to build and scale a high-performing Solutions Architecture organization across EMEA.
You will shape the regional engagement model in close partnership with Sales leadership and influence how technical teams support customers as the business grows.
The role combines strategic organizational leadership with direct involvement in high-value customer opportunities.
- You will lead teams across multiple countries, develop senior technical talent, and establish clear operating models and performance standards.
- You will engage with C-level technology leaders and help customers solve complex cloud, AI, and infrastructure challenges.
- The position also provides an opportunity to influence product and technology direction through customer insights from across EMEA.
- Remote work is available from Europe in a fast-moving, international environment focused on AI infrastructure and meaningful technical impact.
Accountabilities
- Build, lead, coach, and scale a high-performing Solutions Architecture organization across multiple EMEA countries and markets.
- Define and continuously improve the regional Solutions Architecture engagement model in partnership with Sales leadership, including coverage, ownership, priorities, and collaboration mechanisms.
- Establish clear operating processes, performance expectations, and strategic priorities that enable the team to deliver consistent technical and commercial value.
- Recruit, develop, and retain senior technical professionals and future leaders as the organization expands.
- Maintain a strong player-coach approach by balancing organizational strategy and talent development with direct participation in strategic customer engagements.
- Engage with CIOs, CTOs, infrastructure and AI/ML leaders, business executives, and other senior stakeholders at strategic customers and partners.
- Lead complex technical conversations that connect customer business objectives with cloud, infrastructure, AI, and technology solutions.
- Represent the voice of EMEA customers internally and provide actionable market feedback to Product and Technology teams.
- Help shape the organization's future structure as the business grows, including specialization, team expansion, and evolving ownership boundaries.

Requirements:
- Proven people-management experience, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and developing senior technical professionals and leaders.
- Strong track record leading customer-facing technical teams across EMEA, ideally with experience managing distributed teams across multiple countries and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience building, scaling, and operating Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, Customer Engineering, or similar technical organizations.
- Strong player-coach mindset with the ability to move between executive leadership, organizational strategy, talent development, and hands-on customer engagement.
- Deep understanding of the EMEA technology market and the ability to navigate different countries, cultures, customer segments, and levels of market maturity.
- Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and lead complex customer engagements.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a rapidly evolving environment where organizational structures, responsibilities, and priorities continuously change.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, security, and Kubernetes, is highly desirable.
- Experience within a public cloud, hyperscaler, or rapidly scaling cloud infrastructure organization is an advantage.
- Familiarity with GPU-based infrastructure, accelerated computing, machine learning and AI workloads, including training and inference, is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of distributed AI/ML infrastructure, Kubernetes-based AI/ML platforms, MLOps, or AI infrastructure is beneficial.
- Experience helping customers assess the economics and technical requirements of large-scale compute or GPU workloads is an advantage.
