Solutions Consultant — EmbedAI (Part-Time)

Most businesses are running on software they don't own, can't customise, and are paying for forever. EmbedAI changes that. We build custom software for mid-market businesses — tools shaped around how they actually work, that they own outright. We replace overpriced SaaS, connect systems that don't talk to each other, and build what doesn't exist yet. Our clients pay a flat monthly fee and keep everything we build.

What you'll do

You'll be the person who goes into our clients' businesses and figures out what we should build next. That means sitting with their teams, understanding how they operate, and identifying every area where custom software could replace a tool they rent, connect a broken handoff, or create something they're doing manually.

From that, you'll produce a structured audit, a clear document covering what we'd build, why it matters, what it would cost and take to deliver, and what the outcome looks like for the business. You'll work with our technical lead to scope each opportunity properly before it goes anywhere near an engineer.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a discovery and scoping role. You'll spend time on-site with clients, ask the questions that open things up, and turn messy conversations into clear, actionable plans.

What we're looking for

  • A background in management consulting, business analysis, solutions consulting, or pre-sales
  • You've done discovery and scoping before
  • Comfortable working across all levels of an organisation, from the MD to the person doing the job day-to-day
  • Strong written communication — the audit documents you produce need to be clear enough that a technical team can act on them and a business owner can understand them
  • Commercially aware, you understand what a build is worth to a business, not just what it costs to build
  • Interested in AI tools and happy to use them as part of your workflow
  • No formal technical background required, but you need to be comfortable in conversations about software

The opportunity

This role starts part-time. As EmbedAI grows, so does this position; the plan is to move it to full-time as the client base expands. For the right person, there is equity on the table. Every audit you produce directly drives the builds we ship, and every build we ship generates long-term recurring revenue. Your work compounds.

If you've spent time in large organisations understanding how they operate and you want to do that work at a company where you'll own a piece of what you're building, we'd like to hear from you.

Practical details

Part-time, flexible hours. UK-based, with client visits required. Salary negotiable based on experience.
