About Us

At Masabi, we’re driving the fare payment revolution, powering the journeys of millions all over the world. We build fare collection platforms that allow riders to seamlessly buy and present tickets for public transport either on their mobile phones, from a ticket machine, or even by tapping their bank card to travel.

Our Justride platform is used in over 250 locations globally, including some of the largest cities in the world. With our industry-first mobile ticketing SDK, we’ve partnered with large players in the transport space, including Uber, Moovit, and Transit.

Your own journey is important to us too. Choosing a role here means joining a network of innovators from all walks of life; a group of passionate individuals who consistently deliver. Here, you’ll find the tools you need to build the career you want. Whether you’re taking the direct route or trying a new path, we’ll support you no matter what.

The Role

Transit agencies commit when they can see exactly how Masabi's platform solves their problem. As a Solutions Consultant, that's your job: connecting what an agency needs to what our platform delivers, partnering with Business Development on the technical strategy and relationships that win business in your focus market, and shaping how we show up from a solution perspective at every step from the first conversation through procurement and into delivery.

You'll go deep on both sides: the transit agency world, and our own product, especially our open platform and what makes working with Masabi different. That depth is what lets you shape solutions that genuinely solve an agency's problem rather than just answering their RFP.

Before we win, you'll be hands-on in the deal: bringing technical stakeholders in early, shaping how our product answers what a bid is asking for, running demos, and flagging gaps for Product and Engineering to consider for the roadmap.

Once we win, you'll turn the agreed solution into something Delivery can build, and help Product, Engineering, and PMO understand what's needed. What you learn from agencies along the way feeds back into Product's view of market demand. If that mix of commercial and technical appeals, you'll do well here.

Location

This role is available on a remote basis for candidates located anywhere in the UK. Candidates based in London may also work in a hybrid model, with occasional travel to the office.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Development to develop the solution strategy and relationships that help us win in your focus market
  • Understand the product and the transit agency world deeply enough to connect the two and solve real problems for agencies, not just answer what's asked
  • Shape solutions that show agencies what they gain from our open platform, and what's genuinely different about working with Masabi
  • Build relationships with technical stakeholders early in the sales cycle, and run demos that bring the solution to life
  • Work on bids: show how our product meets what's being asked, identify gaps, and work with Product and Engineering to get real gaps onto the roadmap
  • Once we win, translate the agreed solution into Statements of Work and commercial documentation, and support the handover into Delivery
  • Run discovery workshops, pre- and post-sale, to align stakeholders on design, from RFP response through to detailed design on complex solutions
  • Help Product, Engineering, and PMO understand what's needed to implement what was sold
  • Feed what you hear from agencies back to Product and Engineering, so market demand shapes the roadmap

About You

  • You've worked in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a product-focused role
  • APIs, data models, and integration flows are familiar territory
  • You've contributed to RFPs, SoWs, or structured procurement responses
  • You can guide a room of different stakeholders through a complex topic and reach a practical answer together
  • You've worked with enterprise or public-sector customers in complex environments, such as transit, mobility, govtech, or fintech
  • Commercial, technical, and delivery considerations are things you weigh together when shaping a solution
  • You communicate clearly, and you adjust how you explain things depending on who you're talking to
  • You work well across teams, and you're comfortable when the picture isn't complete yet

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency environments
  • Experience with partner integrations involving third-party hardware or SaaS platforms
  • Experience in another regulated, tender-led sector
  • Experience improving documentation, diagrams, or enablement material for partners and new hires
