GCS Project Solutions (GCS PS) is the Consulting Division of GCS Technical Recruitment, servicing the UK, Europe, and US markets for over 25 years.

Our aim is to offer true value to our customers by targeting and deeply understanding where core problems and challenges lie, going far beyond the hiring need. We have a range of services and delivery models to support our customers, built upon deeply capturing Capacity or Capability driven business issues.

As a Solutions Consultant

Your role requires you to develop and own a network of Independent Associates whilst growing and maintaining a robust Sales Pipeline of customers who align to our services and models.

You will be a key driver in generating new business leads, setting up customer conversations, and supporting the GCS PS leader with customer pitches and driving the success of GCS Project Solutions.

Your role will be targeted over a yearly period but you will also have clear monthly metrics that you need to maintain in order to build a success Sales Pipeline which will be discussed in your weekly Sales meetings.

Competencies & Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

NB: this is not exhaustive and there will be other expectations on you in line with business requirements.

Sales & Building of Sales Pipeline

  • A key to your success will be to have a clear and concise Sales Pipeline of customers you are targeting, ones you are at the early stages of speaking to, and ones you are pitching a solution to.
  • Clear monthly targets for client conversations and client meetings which will be agreed with your manager.
  • Attend weekly Sales meetings and demonstrate prospective customers and progress made.
  • Support the GCS PS leader with client proposals and shadowing them on pitches.

  • Continue to develop a network on social media including LinkedIn, posting relevant solution content in order to attract inbound leads.
  • Professionally represent yourself as part of GCS.
  • Embrace all training opportunities and demonstrate application of learnings in your day-to-day activities.
  • Shadow the leader of GCS PS (where needed) on meetings and presentations in order for you to transfer the knowledge into your own meetings.
