The role
This is a customer-facing pre-sales role. You'll work alongside the Sales team, find out what each prospect's real problem is, show them how the product solves it, and guide the deal from first conversation to a confident buying decision.
What you'll do
- Own the pre-sales process end to end for UKI prospects, working with Sales throughout each deal
- Run needs-analysis conversations and turn what you learn into a clear, tailored solution recommendation
- Design and deliver product demos and proofs of concept, using prospect data where possible
- Own or contribute to RFI and RFP responses, with technical accuracy and close attention to detail
- Build ROI analyses and business cases that help prospects make the internal case for investment
- Complete the same implementation certification as the client's delivery consultants, and keep up with a fast-moving product roadmap
- Work with Implementation and Customer Success to confirm proposed solutions can be delivered, so the handover from sale to onboarding is smooth

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll bring
- Experience as a pre-sales or solutions consultant, sales engineer, or in a similar customer-facing consulting role. Or senior experience in credit or accounts receivable management, with hands-on delivery or implementation exposure. A mix of both is a plus, but you don't need both.
- A track record of finding a customer's real business problem, guiding them to a clear recommendation, and setting out the business impact
- Close attention to detail with figures, calculations and written materials. When you're putting a significant cost saving in front of a prospect, accuracy is what earns their trust.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and the confidence to build trust with prospects and internal colleagues
- Comfortable working at pace across a high volume of live opportunities
- Willing to travel to customer sites, workshops and industry events across the UK and Ireland, and wider EMEA when needed (about 15–20% of your time)
