Job Title

At Dscout, we’re building the most flexible and powerful UX research platform on the market—trusted by the world’s top brands in finance (JP Morgan Chase, Intuit, Charles Schwab, PayPal), healthcare (Aya, Headspace), consumer goods (Keen, Verizon, Target, Northface), and tech (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Meta, Spotify, AirBnB). Our tools help teams deeply understand the humans behind their products, so they can build better ones. We are expanding our smart and driven team and would love for you to join us.

Overview

We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant to join the Dscout Presales Team. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Directors to guide prospective customers through their evaluation of Dscout’s research platform. You will act as both a product expert and a strategic advisor - uncovering pain points, shaping use cases, and demonstrating how Dscout’s solutions deliver real value. This role blends presales excellence, research credibility, and product storytelling, making it ideal for someone energized by problem‑solving, discovery, and influencing customer decisions. This role would be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Solutions Consulting.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Account Directors to understand customer goals across research, design, and broader business contexts.
  • Support discovery conversations to identify pain points and unpack complex research workflows.
  • Translate customer challenges into clear, high‑impact use cases.
  • Deliver compelling, customized demos tailored to each customer’s workflow, challenges, and goals.
  • Own the “tech win” by driving alignment across the customer’s buying committee.
  • Serve as the product expert-explaining capabilities, value, limitations, and best‑practice approaches.
  • Scope, plan, and execute customer evaluations, including research design, recruiting, fielding, and analysis support.
  • Partner with prospects to create a clear roadmap for onboarding, adoption, and long‑term success.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop presales collateral, case studies, and thought‑leadership materials.
  • Provide structured feedback to Product, Research, and Customer Success based on customer insights.
  • Participate in conferences, customer onsites, and company events (approx. 25% travel).
  • Contribute to Dscout’s culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and research excellence.

What You Should Have

  • 3+ years in a customer-facing SaaS role such as Solutions Consulting, Solutions Engineering, Research Consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of qualitative research methodologies with hands-on experience planning and executing research.
  • Ability to communicate complex research workflows and translate them into compelling product stories.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills-able to be consultative, clear, and persuasive with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, structuring messy problems, and crafting strategic recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, behavioral sciences, HCI, design research, or equivalent professional experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
