Solutions Consultant – Financial Crime - Nexus AML

About Nexus AML
Nexus AML delivers AI-accelerated financial crime operations for regulated financial institutions, combining practitioner expertise, scalable delivery and in-house technology.
Role overview:
We are hiring a commercially minded Pre-Sales Consultant to help clients understand the possibilities of Nexus AML’s financial crime technology, including directly demoing and discussing configuration options with clients as well as helping support marketing literature and client specific information. The role is ideal for someone with 5–10 years’ experience in software sales, pre-sales or solution engineering, ideally with exposure to financial crime, RegTech, FinTech and financial services.
What the role involves:
The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Delivery and Financial Crime SMEs to tailor product demonstrations for prospects, clients and partners.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the in-house development team to design, build and maintain polished product demos, demo environments, sample data and walkthroughs.
- Deliver live demos to client stakeholders, adapting the story for commercial, operational and technical audiences.
- Translate client pain points into clear demo narratives that show the value of Nexus AML’s technology and services.
- Create reusable scripts, proof points and sales enablement materials.
- Feed client requirements and market insight back into the Dev team.
- Support RFPs, proposals, webinars, workshops and key sales meetings.
- Produce insightful content highlighting key advantages of Nexus AML solutions.

Experience and background:
- 5–10 years’ experience in software sales, pre-sales, sales engineering, solution consulting or demo engineering.
- Strong track record of delivering client-facing software demos, ideally in SaaS, RegTech, FinTech, financial services, compliance or workflow technology.
- Financial crime knowledge is desirable, including AML, KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, fraud or regulatory compliance.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect product capability to client value, efficiency and risk reduction.
- Confident presenting to senior client stakeholders and working with internal product and technical teams.

- Understanding of data, workflow configuration, APIs or software environments would be advantageous.

- Clear, credible demo narratives that show how Nexus AML helps clients improve financial crime operations.
- Better alignment between market feedback, product capability and sales messaging.
Ideal candidate profile:
This role would suit a Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, Demo Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, Product Specialist or technically minded Account Executive who is credible with clients, comfortable with software and able to turn complex capability into a simple, persuasive story.
