Solutions Consultant (Pharma/Life Sciences)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Consultant (with Pharma/Life Sciences expertise) based in United Kingdom.
As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a strategic role in helping pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations adopt innovative digital solutions that address complex business challenges. Acting as the bridge between customer needs and technical capabilities, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tailored solution strategies, deliver impactful product demonstrations, and guide proof-of-concept initiatives. You will engage with senior stakeholders, support business development efforts, and contribute valuable market insights that influence product evolution. This role offers the opportunity to work in a global, collaborative environment focused on innovation, customer success, and digital transformation within the healthcare sector.
Accountabilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand business objectives, existing technology landscapes, integration requirements, and regulatory considerations.
- Design tailored solution architectures and implementation approaches that align product capabilities with customer needs.
- Deliver engaging, customized product demonstrations that showcase relevant workflows and business value for different stakeholder groups.
- Define, coordinate, and oversee proof-of-concept projects, ensuring successful execution and validation against agreed success criteria.
- Develop ROI models, total cost of ownership analyses, and business cases that support customer investment decisions.
- Prepare technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, ensuring accurate and compelling documentation of product capabilities.
- Act as the voice of the customer by communicating market trends, feature requests, and competitive insights to product and development teams.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer journey throughout the pre-sales process.

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
- Proven experience managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical processes, regulations, and industry challenges.
- Experience designing customer-focused solutions and translating business needs into technical recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent consulting, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Outstanding presentation, proposal writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer needs and evolving industry trends while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in project management, digital marketing, or content management are considered an advantage.
- Upper-intermediate (B2) level of English or higher.
